BO IRVINE
National headlining comedian and Native Hawaiian, Bo Namolokama Irvine, “The Hawaiian King of Comedy” has been entertaining audiences since 1988 with his solid act, quick wit and ability to ad lib with any club, corporate or military audience.
With performances on NBC "Late Nite", Showtime "Comedy Club Network", A&E "Comedy on the Road", HBO Comic Relief, or NBC "Last Comic Standing" Season 6 Hawaii Showcase. He's performed alongside George Carlin, Howie Mandel, Jeff Foxworthy, Brad Garrett and George Wallace. Pre-pandemic, Bo's Waikiki show, “High & Right Comedy Night” with a 5* TripAdvisor rating, ran at the Hale Koa Hotel from 2010 through March 2020. From March 2008 to January 2013 Bo also headlined his stand up show, “Comedy Polynesia” at the Waikiki Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel.
Bo Irvine began his comedy career as a young Firefighter, moonlighting at comedy clubs on his nights off. In 1987 he auditioned for an Emcee spot and soon became a feature act than headlining act at the Honolulu Comedy Club in Waikiki and its clubs on Maui, the Big Island (Kona & Hilo) and Kauai. Bo's career with the Federal Fire Department and a Standup Comedian continued to evolve, working, and excelling at both careers. As a Federal Firefighter, Bo attained the rank of Assistant Chief, Irvine went on to become Director of Occupational Health & Safety at Marine Corp Base Hawaii. He was the recipient of the U.S. Secretary Navy Award of Excellence six times and the Commandant of the Marine Corps Center of Safety Excellence Award four times.

WANDA SHIPP
Wanda Shipp is the founder of “Sharkey's Comedy Club” in 2004 and “High & Right Comedy Night” presented by SCC in 2010. Sharkey's Comedy Club was created with guidance from her mentor and friends, Eddie & Charlotte Sax. As Managing Director, she handles day to day business operation and show production. She is President & Director of Egos. In addition to running the business and producing shows, Shipp is Bo Irvine's Manager.
Over the years, Wanda Shipp has hosted and welcomed to the stage, many “A” list Hollywood Comics, fostered and given stage time to up & coming fledgling comics, some of which have pursued successful full time careers in entertainment. Shipp has an eye for talent, together with Irvine, Sharkey's Comedy Club hosted NBC Season 6- Last Comic Standing Hawaii Showcase, two Hawaii Comics won and went on to compete in the LA finals. Shipp & Irvine produced “Bo Irvine's Comedy Showdown” winning a Telly Award.
Shipp has received numerous accreditations of appreciation and achievement by the U.S. Military for her role in providing professional shows and entertainment to U. S. installations in all branches locally, nationally and internationally.
Along with running Sharkey's Comedy Club and producing Comedy shows for military, corporate and community events, she has co-produced variety shows with her friend, Hawaii's entertainment icon, Jack Cione. Co-produced Hawaiian Chopper Magazine Biker Build Offs with builders from Japan, US Mainland, and Hawaii, featuring Ozzie Osbourne's Harley Davidson Chopper build by Counts Kustoms, Las Vegas. Produced Bo Irvine's “Seriously Living with Diabetes can be Funny” speaking engagements in Hawaii, US Mainland and Canada.
Wanda Shipp is happy to shine the spotlight on those who are entertaining & funny…she isn't one to blow her own horn, all you need to know is she does a great job, she's professional, honest and dependable.
Born and raised in Canada, Shipp has called Hawaii home since 1990, her business background is 30+ years in Sales with an additional 15 in Finance. She is a Chopra Certified Meditation Instruction, Chopra Certified Ayuvedic Health & Wellness Coach, CrossFit Athlete, and animal lover.
